Resumen

Nuestra línea de investigación estudia la interacción planta-geminivirus a nivel genético y epigenético, utilizando como modelo principalmente geminivirus del complejo TYLCD. Nuestro trabajo está dirigido a determinar la importancia biológica de los cambios producidos en el metiloma y a nivel transcripcional en los hospedadores, Arabidopsis thaliana y Solanum lycopersicum, durante la infección por geminivirus y a identificar las proteínas virales que son responsables de dichos cambios en el hospedador.
